How many of you guys keep a quiver of the same rods in every size needed, or am I just ocd, would there be any benefit to mixing n matching rod brands for different uses? I tend to use a motive 8wt which is my favorite rod to throw, but had a predator in 6, 10,12 so I just ordered an 8wt to round it out because of ocd. now to get the 10 and 12 motives.

I run a Eastcape Lostman scooter w/Etech 60. Never had a issues till January and had to rebuild carb and a few other things, then last month lower unit went out. Insurance is covering lower unit. Thinking about going to a F70.

Buying flies online?
So now that I am getting into fly fishing I am running into a dilemma. There is really no place to buy flies around where I live. And NO I am not at the point where I want to learn to tie my own. So my question is.. Where is the best place to purchase flats online? Also recommendations on what everyone is using for redfish would also be appreciated.

How to avoid Seaweed in intake - Jack Plate?
Hello!
I have a Gheenoe LT25 with a Yamaha 20hp tiller four stroke, short shaft. Whenever I am driving through any type of seaweed on the surface, I'm almost guaranteed to have it get stuck in the intake, forcing me to stop and shake it off the engine.
Would adding a jack plate with a set back help eliminate this process? If not, what will?

Fuel line too thick? - Fuel not getting to engine!
Hello,
I have a Gheenoe LT 25 with a Yamaha 20hp 4 stoke. I am using a 6 gallon fuel tank, with a 3/8 fuel line. For some reason, when I place the tank on the lower deck, fuel does not push into the line. I have to have the fuel line in a very specific manner so that fuel stays in the line. Not sure why, when I know some people have tanks ran from the bow of the boat.
Any ideas? is the fuel line too thick?

Dolphin Renegade rebuild
Bought a 2001 Dolphin Renegade project hull a few weeks ago, under the impression it just needed some cosmetic work (deck/cockpit gelcoat, etc). To make a rather long story short, I found out the next day after doing some sanding that it needed a lot more than cosmetics (I have a separate thread on here where I go into details about that, if you care to search it).

I recently purchased a used 2013 East Cape Vantage VHP, while the boat has been great I've had a couple issues with wiring. I'm not complaining, these things happen with used boats, especially saltwater boats. Most of the wiring stuff I've been able to fix with some soldering and heat shrink. The only persistent issue is the Garmin 740s would power down every time I started the Evinrude 150HO. I had the starter/house battery tested and replaced at Autozone but it kept...

I have a 9’ 4-piece Scott Meridian 11 weight in practically new condition that I would like to trade for a 6, 7 or 8 weight rod of equal value.
It is in near perfect condition, the handle is slightly darker than when I bought it in December, as it has only been lawn casted and never seen the inside of a rod gunnel on my boat. There are no scratches on the rod.
The rod tube has a few scratches but otherwise is in very good condition.
